Effective date: 2026-07-20
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of investingoverview.com and its articles, category archives, rating filters, review and rating forms, helpfulness tool, contact functions and company-response process (the “Site”). By using the Site, a visitor agrees to these Terms. If a person does not agree, they should not use the Site or submit content.
1. About the Site
InvestingOverview is an editorial database and commentary platform about brokers, investment projects, crypto-related services, prop-trading firms and other financial-market participants. The Site publishes research, opinions, risk observations, external sources and user contributions.
InvestingOverview is not a broker, investment adviser, bank, exchange, law firm, regulator, recovery service or financial intermediary. Access to the Site does not create an advisory, fiduciary, professional or client relationship.
2. Information only — no financial advice
All material is provided for general information and discussion. It is not personalised financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, an offer, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy, sell, deposit, transfer or recover funds.
Financial decisions involve risk. Visitors remain responsible for checking current documents, licences, warnings, fees and terms with official sources and for obtaining qualified advice when needed. A favourable or critical review is not a guarantee of future conduct, solvency, returns, withdrawals or regulatory status.
3. Editorial content, commercial placements and corrections
Articles reflect information reasonably available at the time of research or update. Websites, ownership, licences, warnings, terms and public records can change. We may update, correct, expand, archive or remove content without preserving every earlier version on the public Site. The Site may accept paid placement or promotional cooperation. Paid material must be identified as such; payment does not buy a favourable rating, removal of criticism or control over an editorial conclusion.
A company, reader or affected person may request a factual correction by emailing investingoverview.info@gmail.com and identifying the page, disputed statement and supporting evidence. We may contact relevant parties, consult public records, add an update or decline a request that is unsupported. Submission of a request does not guarantee removal or a favourable outcome.
4. Eligibility and acceptable use
The Site is intended for adults. A person must be at least 18 to submit a review, rating, message or company response. Visitors may read and share links to Site pages for lawful personal or internal business use.
A user must not:
- interfere with the Site, bypass security controls, probe for vulnerabilities, introduce malware or overload forms or infrastructure;
- use scripts, bots or automated tools to post content, manipulate ratings, create false engagement or scrape substantial parts of the Site without written permission, except normal indexing by public search engines;
- impersonate another person or company, falsely claim authority, conceal a material conflict of interest or misrepresent first-hand experience;
- copy, republish or commercially exploit a substantial part of the Site in a way that substitutes for the original publication;
- use Site content or user data for harassment, unlawful profiling, fraud or another illegal purpose.
5. Reviews, ratings and replies
No account is required to submit a standard review. The form may request an email address, nickname, title, opinion and up to three one-to-five ratings: Terms of Cooperation, Platform Stability and Fulfillment of Financial Obligations. A contributor may select “Can’t evaluate” for a category instead of assigning a score. The email address is used for verification, moderation and dispute handling and is not displayed publicly.
A contributor confirms that:
- the submission is based on genuine experience or clearly identified, verifiable information;
- the content is accurate to the best of the contributor’s knowledge and distinguishes facts from opinion;
- the contributor has the right to publish the content and has not included confidential or unlawfully obtained material;
- the submission is not posted for payment, reward, retaliation, coordinated reputation management or rating manipulation;
- the contributor will not submit the same or substantially similar review through multiple identities.
Displayed overall and category scores are arithmetic means of eligible one-to-five ratings included in the calculation. A category marked “Can’t evaluate” is excluded from the corresponding mean. Archive filters such as High, Middle and Low are navigation aids based on stored rating data; their thresholds may be adjusted as the display logic changes. Aggregates can change when a review is published, removed, corrected, reclassified or excluded. Visitors may mark a review as helpful; helpfulness counts are informational and may be corrected, excluded or reset for duplicate, automated or manipulated voting. A displayed average or helpfulness count is not an InvestingOverview guarantee or professional assessment.
6. Prohibited user content
A review, reply or message may be rejected, redacted, labelled, restricted or removed if it contains:
- fabricated experience, impersonation, undisclosed promotional content or coordinated positive or negative manipulation;
- threats, harassment, hate speech, incitement, discriminatory abuse or instructions for unlawful conduct;
- defamatory factual allegations presented without a reasonable basis, or content that cannot be meaningfully assessed;
- bank details, document numbers, addresses, telephone numbers, account credentials, private keys, personal correspondence or personal data that should not be public;
- malware, spam, affiliate links, solicitations, repetitive content or irrelevant advertising;
- copyrighted or confidential material that the contributor is not entitled to publish;
- content that violates law, a court order, another person’s rights or these Terms.
7. Moderation and the “Cheating Review” label
Every review is checked manually before publication. Submissions and helpfulness votes may also be reviewed for duplicate wording, unusual timing, coordinated rating or voting behaviour and other information available through WordPress and the Site’s security infrastructure.
Where authenticity is doubtful, we may request supporting information or delay or reject publication. If a published review receives a “Cheating Review” or similar notice, the review remains visible but all ratings attached to it are excluded from aggregate scores, unless the review must be removed for a separate violation of these Terms or law. The label indicates a moderation concern; it does not by itself establish that a named person committed fraud or another offence.
We may correct obvious formatting, remove unsafe personal data or shorten material that is irrelevant, while aiming not to change the substance of a contributor’s opinion. We are not required to publish every submission and may prioritise the clarity, safety and integrity of the discussion.
Where reasonably possible, a contributor may ask for review of a moderation decision by emailing investingoverview.info@gmail.com with the page link and the email used for submission. We may provide a brief explanation unless doing so would compromise security, privacy, legal obligations or abuse-detection methods.
8. Company responses and identity
The Site does not offer a standard public reply form for companies. A company or representative may email investingoverview.info@gmail.com to request publication of a response or correction. Acceptance, format and placement are agreed with the administration case by case. Publication does not mean that InvestingOverview has verified the sender as an official representative unless the Site expressly says so.
We may request evidence of authority before attaching a response to a company profile or processing a request involving non-public information. Company responses remain subject to moderation and must not pressure users, disclose customer data or operate as undisclosed advertising.
9. Licence for submitted content
A contributor retains ownership of original content they submit. By submitting it, the contributor grants InvestingOverview a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, publish, format, excerpt, display, distribute, archive and moderate the content for operating, promoting and preserving the Site and its records.
This licence continues for published or archived copies to the extent reasonably necessary for the Site’s publication history, legal compliance and dispute resolution. A contributor may request deletion or anonymisation, but removal is not automatic where lawful grounds support continued publication or limited retention.
10. InvestingOverview content and intellectual property
Except for third-party materials and user contributions, the Site’s articles, original graphics, structure, branding and compilation are owned by or licensed to InvestingOverview. Short quotations and links are permitted where lawful and accompanied by clear attribution. Other reproduction, systematic extraction, republication or commercial reuse requires prior written permission.
11. External sources and links
The Site may link to company websites, regulators, public registers, archives, social networks and review platforms. Links are provided for context and do not imply endorsement, partnership or control. External content may change or become unavailable, and InvestingOverview is not responsible for transactions, claims, security or privacy practices on third-party services.
12. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue a page or feature; introduce moderation or security controls; limit abusive access; or update these Terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, preservation of every submission or compatibility with every browser or device.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. InvestingOverview does not warrant that every statement is complete, current or error-free, that every user is genuine, or that use of the Site will produce a particular financial or legal outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct where applicable.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, InvestingOverview is not liable for investment losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, business interruption or indirect or consequential damage arising from reliance on Site content, user submissions, external links or the conduct of a reviewed company.
A visitor remains responsible for independent verification and for decisions made after reading the Site. This limitation does not reduce any mandatory consumer right or other protection that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive.
15. Suspension and enforcement
We may block or restrict a submission source, remove content, exclude ratings or limit access where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, protect security or prevent manipulation. Repeated evasion of moderation or technical controls may lead to further restrictions.
16. Governing principles
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence. A dispute must be brought before a court competent under applicable law, and consumers retain any mandatory right to bring a claim in their place of residence. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver.
17. Changes to the Terms
The current Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Changes apply prospectively from publication unless a later date is stated. A person who continues to use the Site after an update accepts the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
18. Contact
Questions about these Terms, factual corrections, moderation appeals, copyright concerns and company replies may be sent to investingoverview.info@gmail.com.
